Pub Quiz Night

Put your cinematic knowledge to the test with a pub quiz night at Ship and Plough! All trivia fees go to support GIFF. Get your tickets now for your teams of four at shipandplough.ca. If you’re looking to take in some live music before our RBC Sunset Beach Screenings, check out Chris Ghidoni and Jace Bodner on July 26th and July 27, respectively.

Nestled in Interlake Brewing Co., these designated tables are perfect for film enthusiasts to gather, share insights, and engage in lively discussions about their favourite films they’ve seen this year. Whether you’re a cinephile or just love a good story, come join one of these tables for some enriching conversations and a great time with fellow film lovers.
Note: These tables will be available inside the brewery. These tables are open for pre-booking or casual use, inviting conversations with fellow festival attendees.

Young Filmmakers Screening
The Young Filmmakers Program invites high school students from the best Film and Video production programs in Manitoba to submit their short films for a special free screening during the festival! During the event, the student filmmakers will present their films and have the opportunity to answer questions from the audience. Students participating in this program are given access to experience the rest of the festival including our GIFF Global Industry Sessions, panels, networking events, and of course, film screenings!
Note: This screening is free, but we encourage all patrons to reserve a spot through our online Box Office

FREE SCREENING • Gimli Theatre
For all of our Filmmaker, Industry, Super, and VIP passholders, join us for a casual networking event at Interlake Brewing Co. Food will be provided! We have also partnered with New Media Manitoba to provide a media activation showcasing some of the work being created at their amazing Studio Lab xR facility in Winnipeg! Sponsored by Warner Brothers Discovery Access Canada.

Join us for an evening of celebration for all our award winners. See who will win our coveted festival awards including the Grand Jury Prize!
