We’re gearing up to announce some big news for this year’s Gimli International Film Festival, and we’re thrilled to announce two lovely additions to our 2020 GFF Team!
We would like to welcome Henning Frederik Malz as GFF’s Logistics Manager and Amanda Emms as our Communications Manager. These two are working remotely and closely together to help contribute to Manitoba’s premiere film festival.
Henning Frederik Malz is a video artist who has shown and exhibited his work at a variety of venues worldwide. Besides his own artistic practice, he has organized, presented and curated exhibitions and film programmes in Canada and abroad. He is overseeing and executing all GFF’s logistical duties and is adapting to the new challenges and changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Henning is particularly excited for GFF’s Manitoba Home Movie Archive! In celebration of GFF’s 20th anniversary and Manitoba 150, participants will receive FREE home movie transfers of their treasured historical Manitoban footage. Visit The Manitoba Project to find out more details and how to register.
Amanda is a communicator with a background in film and tech. She is thrilled to be working with all of GFF’s film fans and supporters. Check out the Gimli International Film Festival on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to say hello and look out for more exciting updates.
