GIFF Welcomes Mark Nuttall

We are excited to welcome Mark Nuttall in his new role as Operations Manager with the festival!

In this role, Mark will oversee and coordinate a wide range of departments, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the festival. His leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards and collaborative spirit that make our festival a success, year after year.

Please join us in welcoming Mark to the team as we look forward to another exceptional year!

About Mark:

Since relocating with his family to Winnipeg in 2021, Mark has demonstrated a clear passion and commitment to the growth of Manitoba’s arts and culture industries. Upon arriving in the city, he and his partner set out to create a fully accessible, inclusive space for dance and performance art. The pair introduced and continue to offer the dance community new, innovative programming for all. Yet, now, Mark has set his sights firmly back onto the world of film, where he’s worked as a film and television industry professional for over a decade.

Along with his film background, Mark brings with him a wealth of experience working in both arts and event management. He spent the last (near) three years working and learning events as the Manager of Guest Experience for True North Sports and Entertainment. Here, he played a critical role in the planning and execution of several significant events in the city including the White Out Street Parties, Winnipeg Jets hockey games, Burt Block Parties, and several other major concerts.

Mark is beyond excited to be joining the GIFF team and can’t wait to experience the fest with all its friends.
