DEADLINE: 5 p.m., January 28, 2019
The Short Film Programmer reports to the Festival Director and Senior Film Programmer and is responsible to research, curate, coordinate and execute selection of all short film programming for the 19th annual Gimli Film Festival, July 24-28, 2019.
As an additional special duty in 2019, the Short Film Programmer will be responsible for programming and managing the 2019 Festival’s focus “Cinema Outside the Box” in coordination with the Festival Director. This series is special for 2019 and is a spotlight on films that break the traditional frame of cinema, including expanded cinema, media arts installations, AR, VR, performance art with multi-media, etc.
Applicants must be Canadian citizens OR have all proper work permits to be able to work legally in Canada. Proof of work permits for non-Canadian citizens must be included with application.
