A film viewing experience unlike any other!

We are famous for our 11 metre tall film screen that stands strong in the waters of Lake Winnipeg during our Festival. Every night during the GFF, you have the chance to catch a flick (and maybe some Northern Lights) under the stars and on the beach. We showcase all genres of film including some vintage favourites.

Films commence at 10pm every night of the festival pending weather conditions (Rain Venue: Dr. George Johnson Middle School. It’s best to grab a spot before sunset as seating gets creative and packed up quickly. Please keep in mind that we have chair-free seating directly in front of the screen and a separate area for lawn/beach chairs. Please be courteous to others by using low sitting chairs, we want everyone to be able to enjoy the film. If you don’t have a chair, build one with sand!

Let’s keep our beach clean and healthy, please recycle and throw out your garbage in designated areas.

Check out our Film Schedule for listings of the RBC Sunset Beach Screenings.
