The Gimli Film Festival is pleased to present the following event:
ACTRA Film & TV Acting with Jonas Chernick
1pm – 5pm, Friday, June 22nd as part of the Gimli Film Festival
Up to 20 participants will have the chance to spend a unique and intimate afternoon focused on Film & TV acting with Canadian actor Jonas Chernick (Canadian Screen Award winner, Gemini winner, two time Toronto ACTRA Award nominee)! In advance, participants will be sent a short scene from a film screenplay, and assigned a role. During the four-hour class, participants will be paired up with a partner and will run their scene for the group, followed by notes and discussion, with a focus on film acting as an expression of honesty and truth; how to access YOURSELF in your acting work, and deliver the most compelling performance possible. Sponsored by ACTRA!
